Default SOHC's.... how does ur oil pressure behave?

ok....
i have had a oil press gauge for about 3 weeks now....
stock Z6 suppose does 10 psi on idle and 50 psi @ 3k rpms

well i used to do about 15 psi on idle and about 60 psi on 3k rpms...

well after a few hard pullls the other night i started to noticed that on idle i am getting 5 psi and @ 3 k rpms i am getting 38 psi...

i can get about 65-70 psi if i go to around 5k rpms... but its diff than before

could it be my oil pump going bye bye??
i know we have to let the oil warm up and all.... but i have noticed this differences for like 1 day now...

i wanna know how ur guys engines pressure is.....
and also some tips on what symptoms can tell me my oil pump its going bad before it happens!

You might wan to play around with different oils, and viscosities. That, and temperature, should all have a key roll in oil pressure.

BTW, how did you hook up you gauge and which one did you get?
