Ok guys I need help here. I have a 01 ITR that is blowing all kinds of smoke due to carbon build up. I brought it back to the dealer ship numerous times and ever time I go they do something and say try this. The car was burning oil so they replaced the valve cover, gasket and the spark plug gaskets. Well it stopped burning oil but it still has a serious carbon problem. They also replaced the O2 senor. Still smoking. I did a compression test and it checked out good. What else could be the problem here???? It has an Apex n1, DC 4-1 and an AEM. It also dropped .2 sec in the quarter no matter what kind of launch I get. Can someone please tell me what is going on!!!!!

 

sounds like you running rich.check your air filter, fuel pressure. how long has this been happening?
