turbo RSX fuel delivery ?s
I just joined a race team (Formula SAE) and one of the guys has a base model RSX that he just put a turbo on, and is now having some problems. Basically the car leans out massivly after 3500 RPM. He has an inline pump installed (MSD) but I am wondering on the correct way to do this (since it is a returnless system, right?), and the way he was told to do it seems very odd. He also has a "black magic" piggyback box with a S-AFC-II. The black magic cuts the MAP voltage sso the SAFC can be programmed from 00%, making it easier to see the fuel trim.
The questions:
1)how do you run a returnless system?
2)Is a aftermarket FPR necessary?
3)What should fuel pressure be?
4)Is the primary O2 heated (1 or 4 wire)?
I am not new to turbos or Hondas (see sig) but am to RSXs, so please don't dismiss me as a retarded newb. I did look at the car and there really is a turbo, it is apperently a ballbearing T3/T4 and he is running a DeltaGate wastegate. I will find out the kit manufacturer for anyone interested ASAP (he told me, I forgot).

Is there supposed to be a FPR on there, because he has none at all from what I can tell.

We are going to check the way the lines run into the tank. If anyone has some advice....
From what I can tell he has NO FPR at all. I looked in the spots normal for a 'teg though. If it is a in-tank FPR, than there could be one. Should an aftermarket FPR be used with an inline pump?

I don't know about the install specifics, but you can call Cybernation at 954-523-8483.
