H22 Idle probs (already searched)
im having idle probs where my h22 just wants to die. it was running on three cylinders the other day but i got that fixed, but now the idle is at like 100 and it just wants to die./ only reason the idle is even at 100 is because i turned the idle screw all the way up. car is running really rough sounds almost like a v8 at times. got the motor comp. and leakdown tested and everything was fine. changed plugs and wires, got the injectors checked out everything is fine. what could be the prob? could it be Fast Idle Thermo Valve? ive changed the tps and the map. could it be o2 or the timing? any help would be great thanks

If your car is running that bad the Ecu should be throwing a code out telling you what the problem is. Your Ecu could be bad, your fuel pressure regulator may not be functioning correctly, fuel filter may be clogged, fuel pump may be going out, could be a number of things. Best advice is to check what codes the Ecu is throwing out, if it OBD 1 there will be an LED that flashes a certain amount of times to indicate what code, if it is OBD2 you will have to take it to a dealer or have a code reader to hook into it to read the code it is throwing out.
