I wanted to relocate my battery to the trunk in my 95 civic hatch, i have a yellow top optima and it won't fit under the hood, anyone know a good site with instructions to do this modifcation?

 

y doesnt it fit?

 

battery too big, don't wanna deal with making it fit, plus wanna wire it to the trunk for security reasons

 

thats no more secure than under the hood you know

 

get a proper sealed box (I know, these are already "sealed") from your favorite cheap parts store like racerpartswholesale.com or summit, jegs, etc.

How do you figure??? If someone was gonna try to disarm my alarm, they would first go for the hood, to their surprise the battery is not there, then what?? are they gonna go and bash my rear window to look for my battery? even so....i'll make it as hard as i can and make them put in more work if they plan on stealing my car. Every second counts.
