we hear about tegs getting stolen every single day..one of the main things they do first is pop your hood and disconnect your battery so your alarm will stop going off..if i was to relocate it to the trunk would it help in any way? or i would still have to run a wire from the battery to somewhere in the engine bay anyways and theyd have access to disconnect that and it would be no difference..? thanks

 

Why not get a hood lock? You'd need a key to access it, so they wouldn't be able to get to your engine compartment.

 

Things needed to deter a thief

1. Good Alarm (avantgaurd G5 See Picture Below)



2. Good Installer
3. 3 or 4 sirens 130 Db to 140db The Nosier the Better (one battery back up siren)
