Default 10" fosgate subs, whats the best?

ok so ive decided im gonna get 2 10" fosgate subs and put them in a sealed enclosure. but which 10" fosgates are the best for clean rolling bass, i dont want to hear any distorted vibrating bass, i want it to roll and sound as sweet as honey. i was listening to some at best buy the other day. (they were HE's, looked like realy shiney chrome subs with black border) they sounded great and are more than likely what im gonna get, but i was just wondering if you guys had some better ideas. thank you!

i'd go with hx2's much better in my opinion (more funding towards build and quality, less towards chrome and bling)

ok so new plan (i change my mind like i change my boxers ) one 12 inch hx2 or 2 10 inch hx2's? which would be better for my purpose? maybe even quite possibly a 15 hx2...

get a single 12" POWER HX2 with at least 1200 watts RMS and i guarentee you will be happier with it than the Punch HX2.

they normally go for over 400. this place is reliable so i doubt you'll get ripped off. this sub will take abuse like no other. instead of sealed, put it in a 4 cubic feet ported box tuned to 29hz and whala, bass like u never heard before. lol.

thats jus it tho...that would create some loud *** pounding bass wouldnt it? im not much into shakin everyone around me...i just want clean rolling GREAT sounding bass...i guess if you toned it down on that sub it would sound better and all...then if i wanted to jus mess around...blast it up and drop some jaws...ah hell who knows...i dont even have the money to do this yet so i got some time ot think about it...

clean bass..better look into other subs besides rockford fosgate then. lol. i suggest a single Stereo Integrity magnum D2 (www.stereointegrity.com). 2.0 cubic feet ported tuned to 29hz is all you'll need. doesn't take as much space as the rockfords but will definitely be cleaner.

Boston competitor 10" with passive radidator. Cheaper, small, really clean bass. Has the air displacement of two tens, hence the passive radidator. DOn't need that much power.

I have 2 10" HE's in a sealed bog giving them 180W each. Probably a little more since the amp is a little under rated. Sounds clean, but not so much at high volume. Get something like the HX2 if you listen to your music loud.

i have one alpine type r 12 in a 1^3 sealed box with the alpine mrd-m300 pushing it. all of my friends tell me that it is one of the best "sounding" systems that is around our town. now granted its not the loudest it does sound good. it is nice, deep, and tight. doesn't miss a note and doesn't bottom out like some other crappy systems that i have heard. oh yeah it will turn a few heads in the parking lot also. but like everyone else, this is my opinion and not yours. just giving you some feed back man. good luck.

Edit: oh yeah look in my sig. i will do the rockford dvc in the vt box for 200 shipped.
