ok, i got a sony cd deck for free from a friend....the trouble is, it doesn't have RCA outputs and i want to run a subwoofer. what do i need to hook up the amp to the deck? i know there's something that lets you hook it up because i've seen subs connected to people's stock deck's before. but i don't know what the part is that i need. thanks

 

get a high to low level converter, which can be found at nearly any audio shop

 

doesnt always have to hi low convertor. if the amp allows it, just tap into ur back speakers and use the hi input.

 

How old is that deck?

If he gave you a Sony deck then he is no friend.
