I'll try to answer some of your questions. Maximum boost is irrelevant. What size t3/t04 is it? Thats what matters. Manifold pressure is just a number, its the horsepower it creates that you need to worry about. You have no way of altering your timing other than cranking back your distributor. If that chipped ecu has any kind of timing advance, which it might considering it revs to 9grand, I'd get it out of there right away. I would also hook up an inline fuel pump that can keep up with the high fuel pressures that fmu is cranking out. Most guys run a 12:1 fmu, not sure if your 10:1 is going to be enough, but your only running 5 psi so I'm not sure. It sounds like you didn't do enough research and just kind of threw this together. Not to flame, just some constructive criticism. So basically ditch the ecu if its meant for an N/A application, install an inline pump and possibly a 12:1 fmu. Or you could ditch that whole fuel setup and go with a Hondata which is what I suggest.

the ecu almost sounds like a zydene. I am also in the plans of boosting my b16 in my hatch with a zydene. I was planning on 7psi max, 12:1 fmu, missing link, t3 turbo, lovefab manifold and stock injectors. the main thing I was also worring about was the timing. I was wondering if there was a way to use a msd box to retard it with revs or with boost, Im pretty sure there is just have to read into it more. I also have the walboro and a built head other than cams.

I got rid of the fmu, and the aem regulator.. I just picked up a used vafc for 150 and waiting for a dsm injectors..hopefully I can crank the boost up to 8..
thanks for your input...

I did a research and found that it's okey to use a stock regulator w/vafc hack and dsm 450 injectors..
