Default accord is smoking

Hey, today I started my car with the hood open and noticed that there was some white smoke coming out of the breather filter on my valve cover. I drove the car around a little and it seemed to stop but after shutting the car down I touched the breather and it was soaked with oil. Does anyone know what this could possibly be? Could it be i blew my motor and its just not that bad yet?

You are talking about the fuel filter. Is anything leaking from the valve cover itself?

no not the fuel filter...i think its a vent for the motor. it usually has a hose that comes off the intake but i have a breather filter on it...i didnt notice and oil from the valve cover

i dunno if it would work but did you try using "the patch"? its pretty successful in helping to stop smoking

It's blow by from your pistons. It's supposed to do it a little. Get an oil catch can instead of the breather filter. It's nice and legal that way, too.
