I'm guessing the Hondata is what most people are telling me to go with. Also to switch to OBD I. Thanks for all your input. Anymore input from personal experience would be well appreciated. Thanks,

yea, obviously you need an OBD 1 ECU, send it to hondata and let them do the chipping. That way you know its done correctly and can avoid any problems if its notchipped correctly.

Is AEM really that easy to tune, I've read articles where they make it seem like 123 to tune. But Ive also seen articles where they do a motor swap in 3 steps.

Im not to sure about how easy AEM is. But then again almost everyone has a different problem with Hondata but normally nothing to major and pretty easy to fix if you have some patience and ask around. Hondata doesnt have tech support worth anything either, so i wouldnt bother after getting your ECU chipped. Convert to OBD1 and just find a good Hondata tuner in your area. Good Luck with whatever you decide.

are you planning to tune it yourself? I would say go with what your tuner is more comfortable with.

I guess the only "tuner" in my area is Kwai Garage. I think Benson can tune AEM somewhat, but they still had problems tuning. There are no Hondata tuners in the Chicago land area that I know of. So basically I want to try to tune it myself, or find a tuner that will be able to tune it...which I haven't yet.

If you plan to tune it yourself, you'll need a wideband.
