Default Need help with Hondata misfire.

I have an intermittent missfire with my d16z6 with Greddy turbo. Sometimes it's minor, sometimes it's pretty bad. Here's a .rec graph of a bad one. Any ideas?

it could be your spark plug wires. does it only miss under boost?

It will do it under all conditions, but it's most noticable under boost. I don't think it's ignition related. What would make the injector pulse width go ape ****?

what's the gap on your spark plug? Try a smaller gap.

Check your spark plug holes for water, and check for arcing through the plug boots.

how did the misfire start?

mine was backfiring while we were tuning it and having slight blips at like 3800 or so , the backfiring wa sloud like a shotgun , this was when i let off the gas thogh. and the fuel maps were fine . this was tuned on a s200, once we converted the rom over to my 4b everythign worked great.
i think the s series software has some blips to itt whether anyone wants to recognize it or not .

I have to agree. Mine still has blips and it backfires. I dont really mind the backfiring its the blips that are just so ****** annoying. Its only in one area 300 mm/hg. I am using S100b.

Ok, mine is doing the same... I have changed the Gap on the plugs to 30, changed the Rotor,Cap and wires. I get a blip while idling.. I know you guys love the Hondata but it appears that there are known issues that I can't get a response on from the Hondata forum. For instance the alternator voltage issue, where you have to cut the Alt-C wire in order to get the alternator to stay on... If possible hopefully this thread can get some answers.. Thanks..

It became alot more noticeable after getting rid of the stock exhaust for a 2.5 inch system. It also has a miss at idle. Compression and leakdown tests good. Ive tried all ignition parts with known good pieces.
