Default 12:1 with 18psi

A moderator on another Honda forum (won't name names). Said he had a DOHC notec ZC with 12:1 CR and 18psi street, 22psi track and he said he could run the street boost on 50/50 (91octane and race gas, total of 115). I said no way. Everyone else said I don't know jack. Any thoughts?

it may be possible. BUT 91 + 115 50/50 is only 103 octane.. im not sure about 18 psi with that c/r and that octane...

Could work. You could get away with it running a T2small, but running a big *** turbo..........then I would call BS.

It would have to be a very small turbo and probably not running too long. I would believe it if he just installed it and recently did the tune, but a setup like that is not going to hold up very long at 18psi on street gas.

I call it BS.

Why the hell would you spend money on a GSR ecu to run a freaken little ZC and at the same time have hondata? WTF... i don't get it the advatage to that.

and he said that he's running a cast Apexi GT manifold that comes on the B and D series kit.... if i'm not mistaken. that T3T4 will not bolt up with that manifold?

even with a 12:1 cr with a t3t4 and hondata i'm thining with say...105octane he would only be able to push 8psi to 10psi max
