a guy named jeremy is in charge of instruction for redline's events - definetely grab hold of him and either ride with him or have him ride with you. my first event was at the streets with redline in february of last year.

it will be really hot, bring shade/shelter/seating, an air pressure gauge, and lots of fluids.

don't try to impress anyone, concentrate on the proper line.

good luck - i may see you there.

I'm not sure yet if I'll be there or not. Do a tech inspection, make sure your brakes are good, battery secured, no play in wheel bearings; check all fluids. Make sure your oil is relatively fresh, otherwise do an oil/filter change before.

Also don't forget the helmet, some basic tools, extra oil and brake fluid, hat, sunscreen, (canopy doesn't hurt this time of the year). Redline usually has free water but sometimes they run out so I always bring a cooler w/ lots of liquids. Check out this site for some basic tips on track driving: http://www.turnfast.com

As ruthless mentioned, just come out to have fun and learn.

My plan is to have fun and learn. This is somthing i should have done along time ago. But I was stuck in the show car style faze. I recently just sold some 18" Gewalts and got rid of my body kit. Picked up some used 16" c8's wheels and bought some new tires. Body shop should be done with my stock bumpers this weekend. Plus I ago to auto x's with my brother who owns a WRX. So im extremly pumped up...can wait..

Thanx for the turnfast link...
