Default Need advice on what speakers to buy!

Okay I got a new deck like a month ago and i'm ready to buy some nice speakers for my ride. I really don't care about being really loud or rattling my car apart with excessive bass, i just want nice clean sound with a punch when I pump it up.

my deck is an Alpine CDA-9805 with 50w x 4 amp

i'm willing to spend around $400 total.

what speakers and/or setup will give me the best results for my money?

My car is a 93 DX Coupe.

Thanks! Oh and tell me what stores carry whatever you recommend!

so a civic eh, i'd go with a nice set of components in the front, JL's or MB Quarts, and a set of coaxials in the back and maybe a little amp on them, it'd be tough to do under 400, worse comes to worse, get 2 sets of coaxials, JL or Eclipse

I'd go the JL coax way. They fit the budget better...

DOnt waste your time with components on a 50x4 radio. You will do more harm than good. Now if you have a true 40-50 watt amp then comp. are the way to go. If not stick with a good set of coaxials. Be sure to check the sensitivity of the speaker(??db@1w@1meter) The higher the number the more efficient the speaker is. That is how loud it will get with very little power.

for 400 bucks, i can hook u up with eclipse 50x4 @ 4 ohms amp. this is real power not hu power which only sends out 13 watts rms or so. the model is EA3422, 2 sets of infinity reference model 6002i (i think). theyre the best coaxials ive ever heard. for about $350-370 shipped. where r u located to i can get exact shipping charges?

Um...Go to the store and find a pair that you like. Who cares what someone else thinks is good??? Honestly your ears should be the judge not us

For the record: I hate MB Quarts because they are too bright and dry sounding for my ears. I liked the sound of the Boston Pro 6.5 so I purchased them.
