So one of my front 6 1/2" Alpine Type-S speakers blew the other day so now i need to buy a new set of coaxial speakers. Just wondering what are your recommendations for speakers. And by the way, i'll be running the speakers off my Alpine Deck, not an amp.

 

I use 4 Eclipse 6.5" 2ways of my Alpine CDA-7893, the speakers have been in the car for about 7 years and the Alpine HU about 4 years. 94

Eclipse speakers are an excellent choice for just a deck and 4. they are hella efficient, sound great for the $, are tough to blow, and have a great warranty ( 3 yrs if u buy them from an authorized dealer other than circuit shitty)

Best thing to do tho is listen with your ear, beacause its all subjective.
