Is there any physical modifications to the injector bungs that you need to do to fit DSM injecotrs?

 

nobody has done this mod yet? I know some of you guys already have.

 

the dsm injectors i have the std plugs on them. My rc plugs work fine.

If you mean manifold/rail fitment, mine go in fine there as well.

 

so they fit in the manifold and fuel rail just like any other honda injector would?

 

They should work just fine... keep in mind they are peak and hold.

 

yeah, I know that....they're just temporary on a haltech...can't afford Russ Collins yet...went broke on the motor.

What year dsm injectors fit?

 

All of them fit; just make sure you get the ones off a 5-speed turbo model; the automatics are only 350s instead of 450s. On my car it worked better on the injector/manifold seal to use the rubber seats that came with my RC injectors than the OEM ones; the RC seats are taller so they hold the DSM injectors a little better. I think the DSM injectors are almost IDENTICAL in size/shape to the RC injectors so I consider them to fit as good or better than the RCs. Where they plug into the fuel rail I suggest swapping the OEM o-rings in place of the DSM ones as well. The Honda o-rings are a bit thicker and look like they seal better.

 

I just wanted to let everyone know about this website I found about DSM injectors. http://www.dsm-performance.com/telcatalog.html Check it out. From what I am hearing, I am thinking of tossing the RC's and going with the DSM 750's for my Hondata reprogram.

dbman96, you said you are currently using DSM injectors, will the ones on the site I listed work for me? I plan on upgrading my fuel rail anyway, but I shouldn't have to modify it in anyway right? Thanks,

Very interesting Holley injectors... 5 hole squirters... now if I just didn't have to run a resistor pak... Just want to run the Hondata and some real big freakin' injectors...

 

Hmm...thats interesting I just got some 450cc off a 95 eclipse and they did not fit my obd1 injector plugs.

 

That is where I luck out, Prelude injectors are peak and hold injectors!

 

need some 720ccs or so though...

98hx99b18c: Just remove the plastic pin in the injector with a blade and they will fit your harness.
