update, i got it to somewhat idle normal, but its kinda rough still, it was some vaccum line that wasn't hooked up. but now i am getting a bouncy idle, only after i tap the gas. if i leave it alone it stays constant but a rough idle, but once i tap it, the idle goes nuts. everything seems to be hooked, and this car was running perfect before taking it apart so i'm sure its something small. anyone have others ideas that come to mind. i am getting no error codes.
Your throttle cable, when put back on, was tightened to much....loosen it until there is a 1/4" of waggle up and down on the exposed part of the cable.

throttle cable doesn't seem to be the problem. it now starts and idles rough and erratically at times. i check coolant, it was low but i just filled an d bleed it. also check for crack vaccum lines, didn't find any. its kinda late so i didnt look too long, and my engine vapors was about to put me to sleep. pulled out the iavc while running, seemed to act the same and check engine light came on cause i pulled it off. so i dont think that is it either. i'm thinking mismatched vaccum line or crack somewhere. does anyone have a picture of their b16a1 engine bay so i could trace to see if made a mistake somewhere. cmon guys i'm trying to get this stock engine back on the road so i can make it to work.

yes everything was at top dead center when i put the timing belt back on. then i proceeded and did my valve adjustment according to the manual. still no luck as of yet.
