Here's a new "feature" that I got on my Mugen resonator after it got hit with some road debris going about 70 mph. The dang debris cleared my front lip and header but didn't clear my exhaust
It looks like a damn hard hit to make that kind of damage.



No noticable change in power gain/loss, throttle response, or change in exhaust sound.

 

At least it's the resonator and not your front lip.

 

lol, my resonator is completely flat on the bottom. Don't worry about it.

 

Ive got worse than that on my resonator, see pic. No change in anything in ~1.5 years like that. Still sucks tho.

 

mine has some nice dents in it. that is one of the reasons i had it removed. the thing was hitting all the time.

 

i think id rather dmage a 3-400 dollar lip instead of a 900 dollar exhaust

I think some dents on the exhaust system will not have any effect to the performance as long as there is no air leak. Is that correct?

 

My Mugen resonator looks just like Jetydosa's.
