been researching and putting together a junk-yard turbo set up for my 1996 240SX for a while now, and im stuck at fuel management....

ive been to all the 240SX forums and there isnt too much info for turbo-ing the KA24DE motor. Plus, i heard honda-tech was the number one forum for turbo-set ups, so i wanted to find out for myself..

this is what i have in mind for my car:
z31 T3 turbo (under $200)
1g eclipse BOV (not sure - cheap)
Log Manifold from JGS($250)
downpipe (get it done custom at a muffler shop, mandrel bent 3" out of mild steel - not sure - $125?)
manual boost controller ($40)
saab 9000 FMIC

I wanna run about 10 psi...but for that i need the right fuel management system..

i was thinking about getting sr20det injectors (hoping to spend under 150 for them)
and then run a hacked MAF ( i know i can get a KA24DE maf on ebay for like 10 bucks)

only thing is that im not quite sure about the hacked maf...is there anything better?? what do you guys think??

 

I would at least start with a larger fuel pump say 255lph, larger injectors like 370cc (depending on how much power you want to make) and a 8:1 FMU. Your also going to need a map sensor controller, i have on for sale

i was hoping to put out 250 hp with the set-up, 240sx comes with 150hp and 160 torque...

i was actually thinking about running a 12:1 FMU....is that not right?

 

I'm in a similar situation. What will probably be the easiest is to run an addition fuel injector controller for more fuel and a msd btm for timing. I'd also upgrade the fuel pump as previously mentioned. They're band-aids, but functional band-aids. I'd check out the e-manage, though from the support site:

their are still some issues that need to be worked out. Their is one person running the emanage on his ka24de.
