sohc turbo, help me out.....to rebuild or not to rebuild
I picked up a d16 swap for next to nothing, it has 200k miles and compression is good. I am boosting it and have thought of two options. BTW ACT stage 3 clutch and rebuilt tranny.
1. just put in the swap and boost it 8-9 psi and drive it like that
2. rebuild the whole thing and then boost it.
I am thinking since I have a spare car, just see how long I can get by with the stock motor (who knows it may last) and if it blows pick up a shortblock for 100 bucks and build that.
What do u think??!?!

Take the stock SOHC to it's grave!
Hell, If you know you want to rebuild it why not test the limits of Honda engineering if you know what I mean.

thats what I am thinking, see how long it will last, and if not spend the extra 100 bucks, drive the trans-am and build up a strong block
