i got a vtec head do i need a ecu cause dual to multi port fuel???..ect
Ok i got a vtec head i want to put it on my 88 civic it has duel port injection i want to get the multi port do i need the ecu?
you can find how to do the MPFI swap in the search, and from there it would be best to get a OBD0-OBD1 adapter and run the P28 ECU, but, you can just run the PM6 or a PR4 or PG7 ECU and use a VAFC or RPM activated switch to run VTEC.

If you convert to OBD1 you will also need an OBD1 ECU, distributor and injectors. But if you leave the resistor box in you can still use the OBD 0
injectors. BUT to run correctly the dizzy and the ECU must be the same OBD.
