wastegate on your charge pipe?

hey anyone know the scoup on cars that run waste gates on their charge pipe? i've seen in for awhile on pro 5.0, and recently saw it on lisa k's car.

my money says something with the auto tranny those guys run, and the need for a larger valve than that of a regular BOV.-pete

It just acts as a BOV. You see that on alot of High HP cars, and as stated above, is used on autos most of the time.
