the battery to chassis to transmission is one wire, like fourthgenhatch said, they're not 2 seperate wires. If you're going to be replacing the grounds, i'd suggest using a slightly heavier wire.

On an ALL original car the ground from the battery to frame to tranny is a one wire deal. On my car, and some other peoples, they have been replaced with aftermarket ones long ago and are now two separate wires. B2finity is talking about replacing them and unless he goes to HONDA, hes not gonna get the one ground wire deal from Kragen or Autozone. About the thermostat housing ground, u cant replace that one unless u open up the entire wiring loom and replace the entire wire....but of course thats WAY too much work and not even worth doing. For that ground, just make sure the surface (where the ground wire bolts on) on the thermo. housing is nice and clean so it provides a good ground.

i made my own ground kit from this amp wiring pack from Wal Mart. It was in the car stereo section and cost less than 20 bucks. It had an assortment different gauge wires and had a selection of ring clamps in it also. Pretty good deal and left me with lots of extra wires if i ever need them in the future.

I didnt go to honda and was able to get the 1 wire that will go from the battery -> chassis -> transmission. I found one with the bracket and everything, it was just a universal fit, so theres a bit more slack in it now, but its not even noticible at all. If they wouldnt have had the one wire, i would have just used two, but since they had it, why not.

I got mine at a "carquest" store if that helps at all. I didnt look around anywhere else though, since that was the first place i went, so i didnt have to look any more.

i got one at autozone, it had a thick wire guage and went from negative terminal to body ground, to tranny ground, but the middle part that grounds to the body did'nt go low enough so i had to ground it on the top metal above the headlight.
