CTR pistons on GSR rods
"sorry but on the b18c1 small end of their rod ..the width is narrower than the piston slot on a b16a.
remember that the b16a guys have to mill their rod small ends to a narrower width to accept ITR/CTR pistons? well the reverse is true when you use b16a pistons on a b18c1 rod."

i havent heared this before.. is it true? and what are people doing to get the ctr pistons in their GSR block? i was looking at P30 or CTR pistons in my gsr buildup!

Nothing. Install them. You can still instal PR3/P30 pistons on GSR rods. If you go vice versa and install the PCT/ITR etc... pistons on like LS rods you have to machine the piston to fit. Rocket knows the exact specs. Mr. Delaney seems to think the play will be to much and cause the piston to "wobble" or have to much lateral movement side to side and cause something like the pin to scorge the walls. You are only going to see .006-.014" movement. Not enough. Yes it's not by the book. Does it work? Yes. Been proven tons of time that PR3/P30's work fine and make great power. You will be fine.
