Default D16A6 Camshaft recommendations?

Looking to put a mild cam in my EX. Not looking to get into the motor, and I'm not looking to bump the compression ratio much, so I don't want a really lumpy cam. What's everyone using? Going to mill the head down to bump the C/R a tiny bit, but nothing ridiculous.

I guess what I'm asking is what's a good mild cam for street use that doesn't require anything more than a good port and springs/retainers?

stage 2 crane is good. i had one in my car b4. it dont even need springs or nothing. good driveability, i think it drove better with the cams, more torque.

ive got the delta 260 regrind. idles good...slightly lumpy on cold startup, depends on how tight you set the valve lash. you can use the stock springs and everything. the price is alot cheaper than a crane.

here are some of your choices - https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=427814

if your going to have the head off for resurfacing....get the d16y8 headgasket. its 0.011" thinner than the A6 HG and half the price of the Z6 HG. also if you have the money pick up an adjustable cam gear to adjust for the mill and HG.

Rocket from EF-1 makes a good cam for the D16A6 that doesn't require valve springs. He can also regrind your stocker if you want. http://www.ef-1.com/

IM a member named exospeed- he's a good guy & they do good work from what I gather. I feel like I've been whoring them out lately as I have been promoting them b/c they seem to have awesome customer service & they are a smaller company which I'd much rather support over a larger co.

I have a Crane cam in mine (88si), very pleased with it, if you shop around you can find it for around 250.
