Which ECU to use for my B16A2?
Wassup guys...I just recently got a B16A2 swap done off of a 99 SI. I have 2 ECUs right now...USDM P73 (ITR) and a JDM PCT (CTR). To all the ECU experts out there, which one should I go with?
Whichever one I don't use I think I'll sell.
Thanks

I think you should sell them and get a 99 SI ECU, since your maps/vtec crossover will be programmed to produce less power with that engine, since its not the right engine. I think the ITR ecu's run rich also, which would just make you run even richer.

Yeah...that's the prob. The swap went into my 97 EK. I have the SI ecu but I'm gonna have to dish out over $200 for an ecu jumper adapter. I think you're right about the richness as I'm not getting expected gas mileage.
But until I get the jumper, the question stands.
P73 or PCT? I noticed VTEC kicks in later for the CTR (~6200rpm), whereas ITR kicks in at around 5800rpm.
