99 civic ECU Problem
I got a 99 Honda Civic, and i did a 97 GSR swap. And i went to get it inspected and my friend sshop and it wouldnt read anything. I was wondering it a 99 Si ECU would read better or should i use my stock ECU from the ex or would it be fucked up because its not a V Teck ECU.

What is your friends shop trying to read? Are you using the ecu for that motor? The 99 si one may work, idk, but i dont think the fuel maps are same (b18c1 vs b16a3?). Not sure if the stock ecu will work b/c knock sensor, and the vtec issue.
