Default Simple Question to those who know.............

Can a 00' Coupe with a B18 have AC? I am aware of the radaitor and fan situation. So you can't fit a teg radiator, yes? So would you use a dual core radiator from a Del Sol? Would that be enough for the B? Or need I worrie about such a small problem and just use my stock one from the D16.

yes bitches I searched.....

yes it can. i think you can use the teg radiator with ac also. but a dual core del sol would work fine, or the stock one.

You can use a stock radiator or Del Sol VTEC radiator and be fine. So yes you can retain AC in our Texas heat with a B-Series swap.

Hell yea bro, today was what? Like 100+, I couldn't imagine driving in my black car with no AC.
So you guys are saying that cooling isn't a problem on a B18 when using my stock radiator??? I guess for this abnormal heat which we experience in TX, it is probaly a good idea to at least go with a Del Sol vtec.

Thanks

thing is with a stock radiator you will 2 different size ports, the engine has larger holes than the radiator.

get and aftermarket or something that works with the engine.

del sol would be the cheapest.

Whats the difference between the stock radiator and
the del sol vtec? Is the del sol vtec dual core? I thought
that just the dohc vtec sols came with the dual core.

Del Sol VTEC's were the one's equipped with the B16 and the dual core radiator

Greebler- yeah it is extremely hot, but you'd be surprised. You've seen my hatch (its a light blue so it draws less heat) but so far I've been ok driving it this summer with out AC and last summer as well. Yeah I sweat a little with no AC but with windows down and try to avoid traffic things are fine
