Can i switch back to an NA setup
I had my bottom end built a few months ago for a turbo setup. i wanted to know can i take the 9.0-1 pistons out and throw in a set of 12.5 or higher pistons. i have darton sleeves and manley rods with all the crank work done . its a gsr bottom end that is now 84mm. any info would be a help thanx.
I had turbo in my head after my friends convinced me out of my all motor wants, after everything was on my car, the night before it was to start, i decided to sell it all. Ive got 2 weeks before school starts...in that time im getting toda b's, valvesprings, titanium retainers, spoon headgasket, jdm 4-1, and having my car hondata tuned.
It can be done.

It can be done.
All my friends are boosted, all the ones that said they were going all motor went boost, tired of the trendy ****. I want a chalange and ever since i owned my type r , i always wanted all motor, i just actually had money for once and figured id boost, but then i realized i was wrong lol.
Kewl i was so hot to turbo but i am tired of having to work on my car every damn day to keep it running good. i getting fed up with havin to monkey around i just want to set it and forget it. just one more question though what pistons are the best for a high comp All motor setup i have endyne's in thee right whats your opinion. also this motor has never been ran so it's still like new condition.
You sure can buddy thats what i did and im glad i did the switch for many reasons. One of them was i was about to spin a bearing and when i went NA i had everything rebuilt and saw that.

you could definately put the pistons in. You'll want to change the valvetrain and cams down the road I'm sure so 12:1 will suffice a street car.
