Ericks TB
Is there any benefit to getting an Ericks 67mm throttle body as opposed to any other 67mm TB? I've got a 67mm TB off a jap import and was wondering are there any tricks in the Erick one or is a 67mm hole a 67mm hole?

oooo so many ways to go from there...
I'm guessing that the Erick's TB is tapered, maybe 70-67 taper. Which, as we all know, would be for velocity. I'll let someone with experience in Erick's racing talk a bit more about that.

I run the erics unit. it's 70 at the mouth and tapers to 68 at the plate. The noticable difference I can see is that it has a tighter return spring than some of the others , so it doesnt stick as much..my bbk one got stuck wide open a few times.
I dont suppose you did before/after with the TB? I'm still running the 58mm B16 Tb and would like an idea of the improvement available with a Ericks TB.
Here is what Erick's 70-68mm TB did on my Skunk2 Stage 2 cammed engine:

This was vs stock 62mm Type-R TB.
