I've got the greddy kit on my sohc. I want to unplug the internal WG or weld it shut and put on a Tial. What manifold will bolt up to the tdo4h-15g??

i've seen an external wastegate welded on to a greddy manifold and they welded the flapper was welded shut, seems to work.

welded a tial 40mm on my greddy manifold and its running really good

 

internal wastegates are fine...i dont know what ur smokin

My internal wastegate f'in sucks, with a 3" exhaust it doesn't do its job, boost will rise until I let off the gas, this is on my greddy kit...other internal wg's may be fine...as for me I'm going with a Tial.

 

I agree.. my GReddy internal WG sucked *** big time! Anything over 7-8psi and it was spike city, hell even my dyno shows spikes from 9-12psi all over the place, and my poor AVC-R working desperatley to get it to stabilize. IMO, if you can get an external, do it!! bOOsted had SFP make him a manifold with a GReddy flange to bolt his 18G to with an external WG flange as well, you might want to consider that.
