Default Winter driving

Alright i live in NE Pennsylvania, we get some snow, around 5 inchs sometimes, anyway, what would be the best route to go if i wanted to upgrade my car, go turbo, or all motor, i was thinking turbo because i can turn the boost down, and just run at like 2k so that way i am still outa boost, but how reliable will a turbo car be??

You can rev the wee out of the car and you won't hit boost. A turbo is spooled by engine load - when the engine's under load it puts out enough exhaust to spool the turbo. So you can even take it up to 5 or 6k, as long as it's not WOT you won't be boosting.

get a diff and a good set of winter tires and ull be fine. u can never put down all your power in ncliment weather (unless u drive awd), so it wont be anything new. just stay low in the revs and take it easy.
-spenc...who drove all winter in NY this past winter with lowerd civic on snows w/o a problem.
