Default vafc help

Ok if anyone who kinda has the same set up as me, can hook up there vafc info that would be coo. I have a built head(skunk2), fuel, bolt ons, msd and other little things. I went to ib but the dude said it was better just to leave it stock, thats kinda suspect.

did he say to wait till you had the car on the dyno?

every car is different. plugging in someone elses numbers may not give you the desired results.

Dyno tuning a VAFC is the only way to do it right.

If he didnt want to tune your vafc, he probably doesnt know what he is doing or does not have the lamba 02 sensor. Your car would yeild good results with a vtec controller. I only have a apexi n1, dc sports "jdm" header, aem cold air, crower cam gears and aem fuel rail with a fpr and after tuning I put down 184hp at the wheels. Vtec switchover was set at 5800rpm, theres no dips in power and the torque curve is flat through out the whole rpm range. I must say that the torque curve was more effected by cam gear tuning than the actual vafc. All cars are different and there other paramaters that are involved with tuning your specific car.

that 184 to the wheels seems kinda high to tell you the truth...what kind of dyno was this done on, what does your AF look like. what is your fpr set to?? do you have a graph you can post up?
