Well one thing is for sure is it isnt running rich or lean....the zex kits signatiure is that it adjust fuel according to how much bottle pressure you have. Does this problem only occur when on the bottle or does it do it on motor also?

bottle pressure abouve 60? i would hope so. when i had a zex kit my bottle pressure's were 850-1300. sometimes more sometimes less. depending on how full or empty it was at the time.
good luck with the zex.

The low botle pressure could be part of it. You can heat the bottle up with a heating pad on high if you're too poor for a bottle heater. Either that or leave the car parked in the sun for a while. Safe operating pressure is around 900-1200 psi.
Also, if you're getting all the way to 4th gear, you're probably going well over the recommended 15 seconds of spraying. Just something to remember if something blows in the motor
It wouldn't be a bad idea to compression test it, check the plugs, get a fuel pressure guage and regulator, and then go to a dyno with a wideband and make sure you aren't going way lean. An A/F guage is not much more than a light show for your guage pod
