Default Help, I can move my shifter in circles!!!

I was on my way to work yesterday when I noticed my shifter felt a little weird going into second gear. I put it through all the gears and then all of a sudden it felt like the shifter wasnt connected to anything. I can move the shifter any which way ( I can move it in complete circles) I got under the car to check it out and It a rubber boot is ripped, disconnecting the shift linkage from the shifter. Does anybody know what I'm talking about? Do you know what the part is called or where I can get it. I feel like a total dumbass for not knowing

Are you talking about the little bushing that the shifter bolt goes through at the bottom of the shifter? (thats confusing enough) If so, Prothane motion control whatever makes some shift stabalizer things which will replace that shifter bushing and your tourqe rod bushing. I'll bet that Energy suspension makes something too.

Could be it, what connects the shifter to the linkage?
