Need opinions for buildup of my car.
Hey guys just want your opinions as far as my buildup goes in the future. Would it be worth going A) stay with my greddy turbo and built engine with hondata or B) spend more money and build up engine with a T3/4 with a hondata.
I really like the simplicity of the greddy turbo( ahhhemm actually like the fact if I don't spend more on a T3/4, manifold, wastegate)
Can I still greatly benefit with the greddy turbo once the engine is built is what I am asking.
Thanks fellas

Anyone?? So far I got quoted 4700 from John Brown which would include je pistons, crower rods, arp head bolts , v/afc, fuel pump, fmu/ check valve setup, dyno tuned and would get around the range of 320 to 330 hp to the wheels at 16 psi. What do you guys think? Also would any of you recommend anyone here in South Florida who is reputable and can do a good job at a better price or is 4700 reasonable? Thanks

My buddy has the Greddy Turbo kit on his GSR with an intercooler. He wants to do the same as you and is boring his motor out to 2.0L and building the bottom end. I told him just to buy a bigger turbo. Dyno differences of the Greddy Kit vs. Drag show the Greddy Kit to be producing more then 50 horsepower less then the Drag Kit with same boost levels. Depending on how many miles you have I would go with the new turbo kit. Be faster with less PSI, you can't go wrong.
