Intake Manifold blown???

Ok lately I have had some irratic idling after a couple days of racing. Right on start up my idle is at about 2k and than once and a while it bounces from 1000-2000, up and down, up and down etc....
I cleaned my IACV and changed my Throttle body gasket and still no change.
I than took some carb cleaner and sprayed my intake manifold gasket, which is the one that meets the head. Right when I do it, it sounds like my idle lowers and the car starts studdering if I really soak it down. The gasket appears to be torn where the bolts meet the head. My engine was just rebuilt about 1 year ago and I thought they changed this gasket??
Well anyways, you guys think this is the **** of the problem or what???
Thanks

disconnect the FITV, IACV, and any others you have on your TB/Plenum. Then reset the computer properly. Worked for me.
I wouldn't be surprised if the gasket needed replacement. Gives you a good excuse to get one of these: http://www.outlawengineering.com/index.html

hope it wasnt that 100 shot of nos that blew the welds off your intake!

What? I'm confused, I don't have NOS, but I used to have 75 shot zex.....
Isn't it pretty obvious that the gasket is blown since when I sprayed it with carb cleaner I noticed a change in idle??
ok anyways, I was checking out the bolts and nuts that were holding the intake manifold down and noticed one isn't even screwed in. I pulled it out and noticed metal in the threads and I could not screw it in. Its a nut that has been seized up on the stud. So obviously, when I got my motor rebuilt they stripped it and didn't bother to fix it. Not properly torqued down, the gasket probably blew near the stud.
Any suggestions on fixing the stud problem??
Can I just remove the manifold and retap the thread hole to oversize, then just use a bigger bolt or do I still have to use a stupid stud and nut again.
I know I probably answered my own questions but I just need someone to reassure me i'm on the right track at tackling this biatch..
Thanks

I have two questions for you (EDIT: 2 + 1 = three), then maybe I can help (I just removed and re-installed my intake-mani this past week).
1) What engine do you have.
2) Which nut / stud is stripped? (in reference to the ports, port 1 being driverside, port 4 is passenger side) Is it the nut above and between ports 1&2; the nut directly below port 4; etc.
3) Is the nut stripped or the Stud?
You should try testing for "leaks". If I knew a good way to do this I'l let you know. The best I can come up with is spray a fine around the suspect area nd watch for "inlet" flow.
Without knowing any of the above answers I can tell you that:
If the stud is stripped instead of the nut, then you need to remove the IM and replace the stud. . . .
Look at my post here on what NOT to do when replacing IM studs:
