Default Home Made Charge Piping

After getting the bright idea to use a clothes hanger and make piping templates. I got them all ready and went to the muffler shop and got pipes made for $10!!!! thats amazingly cheap.
here's the Install pics
man they fit snug too! I LIKE!!!

Fixed

You think 2 inch piping is too small for a T25 on a D16Z6 @6-7 psi???

2 inch piping would be OK if it were mandrel bent. Crush bending will decrease the flow by 30%....so if they were only $10 i would go back and get some 2 and 1/4. Actually if it was me i would go buy mandrel bends and cut and fit them myself...but this is only $10 so i see why you went that route Good luck man.

You lucky bastard with that aftermarket front end, I have the same intercooler in a 90 CRX with stock bumper. I had to mount it about 3 inches higher so I had to cut a lot of bumper support out and hack apart the bumper cover. Looks good

$10?!?!?! freakin sweet dude! i'm getting ready to boost my sohc zc, seeing this thread gets me all moist.

maybe it was covered allready, but what type of bends did you get? mandrel or crush bends? and how'd you use coat hangers to match the charge piping specs? just bent them where piping was going to go so the shop had a line to work with?

-2in piping seems a bit small...

keep us posted on the project

I agree, can't beat the price for backyard turbo. nice foot shot by the way. maybe you should sell it to a website that specializes in foot fetishes. lol then you could afford a boost controller? ha ha
