Default FPR question

I purchased and installed a B&M fpr a year ago, the regulator worked fine for a while but while trying to diagnose a problem I have come to find that my B&M fpr has gone bad. When I am under full throttle and vtec kicks in I can hear it but it does'nt seem to want to pull hard, when I swap a stock fpr in it pulls hard. My question is should I just modify my last stock fpr for the B&M or do you think its the B&M part that has gone bad. I can't really see the B&M part going wrong because its just a spring but I wanted to get some opinions before I cut up my last stock FPR. Thanks ahead.

i have a b&m fpr and had it for about 2years now. no problems yet. what setting did you have it on? What's your mods? did you notice that much of a difference with stock and b&m vs stock?

It was working fine I took the car in to get my hondata tuned, they set it at I think about 50 psi but then I had to put a stock p30 ecu in and my fpr would not go down lower than 45 psi. So I just have the stock one in right now. There is a huge power difference when I swap the two around, the stock one being the better one.

No my hondata is not even in right now I was having problems with that too. I am just talking about the fuel pressure regulator. I know that the fpr is bad I want to know if it is the stock regulator part or the B&M part. Thanks anyways.
