Default failed emissions!! (pics included)

the day started at 39psi, then to 30 psi, and finally to 34psi in an attempt to get the numbers loking good...

right now the car is running about 4 degrees advance on the intake cam, and the timing is probably at 19 degrees. i had just filled up with some 93 octane and taken the car out for a little beating on the freeway to warm up the cat.
i am also not running an o2 sensor.

where do i go fm here to get it to pass?!

thnks

how come @ 34 psi and 30 psi u pass C0 and HC
but on 39 psi u pass them both but the NO2

judging from ur avatar u might have a VAFC

why dont u record ur settings right now and go ahead and lean the car a lil bit... that should help... and after emisions put it back on stock settings..... also try to retard timing to about 17-18 deg.....

since u dont have a second O2 that may be alerin ur A/F mixtures...

if i have to run an 02 my header only has one bung, i have them wired together, and will only be running one 02 sensor. i will put an o2 sensor back in, but i only have ONE chance before i have to pay again (already spent 50 dollars!)
so i need to get everything done. BTW it seemed if i lean it out itll fail on NOx and if i rich itll fail on CO. the vafc is for fine tuning, and it seems i dont have enough time on the machine to fine tune everything 5-10 times. not to mention the 25 dollars for every 2 tests.

yeah with out o2 sensors, ur car is running hella rich even with the vafc, u need to lean it out at the bottom end, and leave it close to stock on the top, however ur fuel curves are all fucked since your computer is just dumping fuel cuz it has no idea whats coming back out of the motor. the computer will do anything to make sure the motor doesn't lean out

Here in kali i failed my smog as well due to high NOx readings. I retarded my timing to like 14-15 degrees, increased my fuel pressure a few PSI (B&M FPR) and ran some of GM's "top end cleaner" (similar to any fuel system cleaner off the shelf but was told GM's was a bit stronger). When it comes to high NOx readings, it means the combustion temps are way too hot, so i did things to cool it down a bit. Also causing the hot temps could be carbon build up, which is why i ran the cleaner through it. I too wanted to make sure i get EVERYTHING figured out and done with cuz i wasnt about to pay 60$ again ! I DID have all my emissions equip. in place and running correctly, as well as the cam gear set at 0. You need that O2 hooked up and maybe set ur sprocket (s) back to 0 ?...and i guess they dont do a visual inspection in Georgia like they do here in kali. Something just occurred to me, because its a chipped ECU it may not even look for the O2 sensor(s), so if u hook them up it may not make a difference. If u dont have a check engine light with O2 disconnected, then it probably doesn't look for one. I would find a stock ECU and then make my necessary changes (like setting the cam back, wiring in the O2 etc. etc.)

Edit : I passed smog when i went for the free retest.
