I cant get my car to boost over 10.5 psi. I have a custom kit with a t4 turbo,drag manifold, tial wg, spark intercooler and a manual boost control and a smc plus. I have tightend the damn boost controller down to the max and i cant seem to find any leaks in the piping. Im going to the track tommorow and i want to see how much boost i can push with my stock map. should i throw another boost controller on there?

 

check vaccumm lines...... maybe u popped the intercooler

 

ill take the intercooler off tommorow and check it out.

 

what spring is your wastgate and be sure to check your vacum lines very good

 

you probably have a boost leak in your couplers / piping connection... disconnect the vaccum all together from the wastegate and see what it boosts if you really wanna test it out.

 

gl ... i hope your car can take more than 10.5psi at the track

the stock map sensor can only read to about 11 or 12 psi.
