I have a 67mm JDM ITR TB Seems ashame to trade it in for a Spoon TB when it's only 3mm difference.
Mine Tapers from 67mm to 63mm???
I can post pics for all the NON believers. No it was not over bored. It came on my JDM ITR Swap.
According to Spoon the Stock TB size is 66mm I can perhaps attribute 1mm error to my less than perfect digital caliper. Spoon claims to increase the size of the TB by 4mm making their's a 70mm TB

Oh I thought you said it had an Evap port??? I don't remember giving any numbers. Isn't the USDM 63mm? I used to have a USDM Type R Engine and I'm sure it was 63mm.
My JDM TB is for SURE 66mm to 63mm taper. Taking PICs NOW!!
Pics taken:
Now if the USDM is 63mm or 64mm as some have claimed above then it is CLEAR that the USDM and JDM TB's are NOT the same size diameter and Taper. And you were mistaken if you said otherwise.
With that Said these are the DIFFERENCES between the TWO.

I'm sorry I was 2mm off, was over a year ago when I measured it and I didnt feel like searching 30 minutes through my pictures folder to verify.

Hmmm Sorry I don't look thorugh your previous posts.
I had a USDM Type R Engine. Like it says in my Signature.
I had another Type R USDM that I sold earlier this year. Perhaps Acura doesn't have good consistency but BOTH TB's were 63mm tapered.. Or maybe it was 64mm since my Caliper is digital small room for error. But certainly NOT 3mm or 2mm
But Hey that is just TWO TB's out of 100's
Let me Site HONDA TUNING as a second source http://www.hondatuningmagazine...lerb/
I guess Ralph Hicks has the same problem as me. http://ralphhicks.com/typer

Maybe we all should have a recall on the USDM 62/63mm TB's Looks like it's an epidemic

A great number of people let sound go in one ear and out the other.
But yea, asses don't have an ear you know, ok, um... gotta go.
