Strange noise coming from wheel well
Synopsis: I just bought 215/40/17 Yokohoma Paroda's (good stuff)...they rub a little at extreme turns but nothing bad.
I am riding on skunk2 coilovers/KYB AGX/Skunk2 front camber kit. We have adjusted the camber kit, but I am in need of an alignment. It seems that my camber has become worst, possibly.
The noise is a kind of rubbing from the rotor area, Ive assumed its the rotors themselves, so I ordered some new power slotted and cross drilled rotors. I will have them by tmrw or so, but Im not sure if this will solve it.
My axels are fine, not sure about the wheel bearing. And the noise comes from one side, the left, as we have found out. While on the lift, we let it out in 1st gear, and at about 25 mph the noise starts...with the right wheel off, it turns out when you stop completely, it comes from the left wheel.
Tmrw I plan on geting my alignment and hopefully new rotors, was hoping you guys could figure out what noise would make this. Also, I just replaced new pads, new rear calipers (they were shot)...the rear rotors are just about shot too, but the noise was coming from the front so I ordered new front rotors. Ill replace the rear as well...any idea to what could be making this noise? Wheel bearing?

my car used to do that..realized it was the break pads...now i have a new noise from that same area.....the brakes dust shield rubs and makes a squeeking noise everytime i hit a bump or the car lifts.

OMG I have the same problem (rear pass side). I think you have pinpointed the cause. I originally thought that it was the brake pads but when I compress the suspension it makes that same squeeking/schreeching noise. How can I cure it?

frosty....try bending the dust shield away...feel around when your car is cold...so you dont burn your self on the rotor or something.....try to see where its rubbing..get a flat head and pry it away....mine still rubs, i just need more time to find where its rubbing at.
I had the same problem as well upgrading to pads from Autozone (they were nice actually!) i also did new rear calipers as mine were shot...
The noise does get progressively louder with more speed...Its deff a problem somewhere in the damn hub
