Default aftermarket speakers no need for amp?

what kind of speakers should i get? i just want a replacement that sounds decept without the need for an amp. i was thinking about 1 set of infinity kappa compents and 1 set of infinity kappa (normail ones)

hmmm, i wouldnt get components without an amp to push them, i mean they'll sound good but you'll get a lot better results out of some coaxials which dont require a lot of power

IMO components aren't worth the money if you're not going to buy an external amp to power them. The Kappa co-axials are a good choice though.

Spend that money you alloted for components on a good amp and good coax. I belive this setup would sound better then nice components and headuint power.

Had Boston Pro 6.5 hooked up to a pioneer 50x4 headunit for one month. Then installed my PPI amp and Alpine headunit and was shocked at the difference in sound quality!

buying components without an amp is like buying a turbo kit but only boosting at 2psi max. haha. gotta make full use of the setup.
