Default flushing radiator?

im gona flush my coolant soon on my 98 accord ex. im gona buy honda coolant at the dealer but i need to be sure how to flush it.
i think its drain radiator and fill with water. then run engine to let circulate aND drain radiator. then fill the radiator again with the engine "on" with 50/50 mixture until full and fill resivoir tank. sound right?? thanks.

Turn the heater **** all the way to hot & open the drain plug in the back of the engine block, too. Otherwise there's a lot of coolant that doesn't drain.

I like to use distilled water.

I usually drain fill with wather run car 3 mins empty fill with flush and distilled water run for time indicated, flush with distilled water, fill with distilled water and proper amt of anti freeze

I think it is underneath ur car near the middle front.

You say '98 Accord, but you don't say 4 or 6 cyl... I don't know where the drain is on a V6; if it even has one.

Mine's a 4-cyl, and the plug is on the back of the block, to the left of the oil filter. It's way easier to reach from underneath. With the car up on ramps that makes it drain easier anyway.

There is a radiator drain on the front middle of the radiator as the earlier posted said... facing the rear of the car. The bolt on the block you're reffering to is the block cooling passage drain and its also a good idea to push out via that too as sediments etc tend to collect inside the block.

Honda coolant? I use whatevers on sale bud... so unless its cheap don't bother IMO. After a few hundred thousand miles on my car I don't think its hurt it

yea its a 4cyl -5 spd. with 127k. jst got it. thanks for the help. ill clean the dust off those ramps and put them to use
