my friend converted auto to stick, but those bastards didnt change ecu and now theyre out of buisness so we cant find them. when the check light came on, they just unplugged the CEL from the cluster so u cant see it. he needs to pass smog and he needs to find a stock 97 5speed ecu.

the code and if anyone has one for sale would be very helpful. thanx

http://www.car-parts.com I just checked and it found 3. 2 here in MA and one in CA. Around $230-$250 though...

are you wanting to know what ecu he needs? i.e a p13 or p28? I don't understand what you're trying to ask.

obd2 p13 right? i always thought p13 was obd1. also, do u know if 96-98 obd2 p72 will plug right in without modification and also will it pass smog with it. i know that the 96-98 p72 didnt immobilizer.
