need help with smc500 on my gsr

Default need help with smc500 on my gsr

i havent put my turbo on yet but i though i would hook up all the electronics before to save time... the turbo will be goin in, in the next week.(just waiting for ic)...
i spent the last 45 min trying to get it working... it idels fine and part throtl is good till about 5500rmp then it starts to studer and wont rev up like normal... also unter WOT it prett much just cuts out like nothing is happening....
has anyone had this problem before.. if so what did u do..
or should i unhook it and wait till i put in the turbo??

SMC is for boosted, you can run it but set the settings all to 0% trim and it can run.

2nd. SMC is USELESS without high flowing injectors.. if you don't have 450cc or higher injectors, you are stupid to buy it and use it for stock 240cc.. it DOES NOT WORK with stock injectors, that defys the whole point of getting it...

3rd TUNE IT AT A DYNO WITH WIDEBAND 02 SENSOR.. don't listen to the fools that say you can tune it on the street, those are the idiots who blow up their engines in 2 days.

you can tune on the street if you have a wideband hook up and datalog it. In the old days we used to tune with the wideband O2 and a camera that would record the wideband reading along with RPM and speed.

i have the datalogging feature with my wideband but i never use it because its not that hard to watch the display and the tach and just make a mental note. just start rich and tune lean slowly.

but yeah to answer the original question, you have to set all of the settings to 0% correction for ALL RPM's.
