I just picked up my car tonight from my car shop, and it runs decent for having high compression and non-stock idle cams, but when the VTEC hits it go's from 5500rpms to 6500rpms, then backfires and throws the check engine light....what could possible be the problem..?

 

Well what code is it throwing??? That will help for starters. Could be a number of thing...leaning out to far ect.
