high oil pressure good for turbo?
It's hard to say. 75psi in a -3 line is going to be different than that of a -4 line (volume that is). Maybe some specifics....actual idle/3k+rpm pressure, place of measurement, ets.
umm i dunno i dont have a oil pressure guage. but i know im gettin higher oil pressure. cuz i put a RSX oil filter on.. and that promotes higher oil presssure. but after i put that on i see smoke come out of the exhuast now. but the oil feed line is a small one i dont know the measurements.
The filter shouldn't bump up the pressure much at all. but if your drain line is marginally sized and you increase the pressure the high pressure in the center housing could be pushing past the seals.
Either improve your drain line or try a restrictor.

if you're running a -4 line and teh oil pressure is too high, your drain line might not be efficient enough and oil will start seeping out both sides of the turbo

you oil pump should have a bypass at about 80 psi anyways...when the oil is at opperating temp
but as far as turbos go...they dont relaly like high oil pressure, from what i have seen and heard...
my Hks gt turbo has a banjo fitting bolt to feed the oil and it has a restrictor in it...and i was told(from hks) no matter what make sure to use that bolt with the restrictor...it is important..
just some info...it could be different for different things
